Two best friends force each other to face their dysfunctional romantic issues at a 4th of July barbecue.

Nia is sick of seeing her best friend, Eve, get hurt by the same guy as she repeatedly falls for his toxic games. Eve is tired of seeing Nia be too guarded to even try to date anyone new. After encouraging each other to see the situation through their own absurd worldviews, they agree to try a different approach.

The Fourth is a light-hearted, grounded comedy about friendship, dating nightmares, and the absurdity of navigating each other's dysfunctions.
